of the past. Acker Millwork Co. is a Wisconsin-based company located
in the city of Milwaukee. Family owned and operated since 1959, we
are the area's leading manufacturer specializing in the authentic
reproduction of wood windows and doors.
With hundreds of shapes and sizes, we understand the need for
exact specifications. We duplicate original designs no matter how
unusual.
Often times larger manufactures can fit any window or door opening
with their standard products. However, if your goal
is to match an existing window or door--down to the wood species,
side stile & rail sizes, brick moulding, sticking, and even the
old style "wavy glass"--Acker Millwork Co. is recommended.
All products are made with premium grade wood species, such as
Clear Northern White Pine, White & Red Oak, Mahogany, Birch, Cherry,
Vertical Grain Cedar, Douglas Fir, or most any other wood species
available.
All Acker Millwork windows and doors are constructed with Mortise
and Tenon joints. Our joints are glued with waterproof glue, and each
item is hand sanded. Furthermore, all exterior products are water
repellent wood preservative treated.
